What we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us: your name, email address, organisation and message when you use a contact or report form, and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) generated by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to prepare material you have requested (such as a readiness report), to administer any engagement you enter into with us, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling or unsolicited marketing lists.
Disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. It may be shared within the CAQA Groups family where that is necessary to serve your request (for example, referring a bespoke matter to CAQA with your knowledge), with service providers who host our systems under confidentiality obligations, and where the law requires disclosure.
Storage and security
Information is stored on reputable hosted systems with access limited to staff who need it. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; we take reasonable steps consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access.
Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are dissatisfied with our handling of your information, our Complaints and Feedback process applies, and you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
