If personal information we hold is compromised, this is what we do — in this order, at this speed.
This page applies to the RTO Training Registration website, operated by RTO Training Resources Pty Ltd (ABN 17 631 073 213, ACN 631 073 213), part of the CAQA Groups family. Questions about this page: registration@rtotrainingresources.com.au or write to 2/10 Lawn Court, Craigieburn VIC 3064.
Our plan
- Contain. On discovery of a suspected breach, we act immediately to contain it — disabling access, isolating systems, revoking credentials.
- Assess. Within 72 hours we assess what information was involved, whose, and whether serious harm is likely, keeping a written record of the assessment.
- Notify. Where the breach is likely to result in serious harm, we notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme — promptly, in plain language, with practical steps you can take.
- Review. Every incident, notifiable or not, ends with a documented review and remediation of the cause.
Reporting a suspected breach
If you believe information held by us has been compromised — including receiving a suspicious message purporting to be from us — email registration@rtotrainingresources.com.au immediately with the subject “Security”. Reports are triaged the day they are received.
Minimisation by design
This site stores no accounts and no payment details, and its interactive tools run in your browser without transmitting inputs unless you submit a form — deliberately limiting what a breach could ever expose.
