ASQA’s fees: rendered from source, never typed into copy
These are the regulator’s charges, separate from anything you might pay us. They are in a period of change, so this table renders from our maintained regulatory source — where an amount is awaiting verification, you get the link to the current schedule rather than a stale number.

The things they forget: your third cost bucket
Consultant fees and ASQA fees are the visible costs. The operating costs below sink more new providers than either — and any generic dollar figure we printed for them would be fiction, because they depend entirely on your scope, city and model. List them, price them yourself, and put them in your FVRA. An assessor will look for exactly these lines.
Premises and fit-out
Training spaces appropriate to your products — leases, fit-out, equipment, and the simulated environments some products demand. Online delivery replaces rent with platform and production costs; it does not delete the line.
Insurances
The insurance program a training provider needs, arranged through your broker before delivery starts — not after the first enrolment.
Student management system
An SMS that handles enrolment, records and your national data-reporting obligations. Licensed annually, implemented before you need it, and assumed by nearly every policy in your suite.
Trainer salaries before revenue
Your named trainers and assessors are part of the application — which means they are engaged, and often paid, months before student revenue exists. The FVRA probes precisely this gap.
Learning resource licences
Third-party learning and assessment resources are licensed per product, usually per year — and then contextualised, which is your time or ours. The licence fee is the start of that cost, not the whole of it.
